How to spend Valentines Day with your bestie

Not everyone was blessed (or cursed) with a partner this year. I would like to remind singles that it is not the end of the world to not have someone. I know people who cannot stand the thought of being alone and if you are one of those people then you have to remember that you are enough.

You are not less valid without someone to love you. There is beauty in waiting for the right person at the right time.

And for now - let me tell you how can you spend this day with your friends.

Order a cake

If you are a skilled baker you can also bake a cake but the safest option for me and my friend was to order one. It is cute and sweet and aesthetically pleasing.

Make Valentines Card for each other

Just get some colorful paper, glitter, scissors, and glue and make cute cards. Also maybe for the family?

Go and make your nails

Try some cute heart designs!

Make pasta together

We are planning to make fettuccine alfredo. If there is a food language then pasta for sure means love

Get those temporary hair dyes or hair sprays

It does not have to be a big change but can make you feel happy to see some pink strands in your hair

Go shopping together and buy some new lipstick color or an enchanting perfume

Buy a bottle of wine or champagne that you both have not tried yet

Go to a local animal shelter

Many shelters make it possible for visitors to play with animals or walk out dogs. Animals have always so much love to offer and it is a great day to appreciate their presence

Love can be found in so many places and people. Look for it in nature, family, friends, self-care, and a glass of wine :)
