hey luvs, it’s alana (@angedelalune). today, i am discussing some books i’ve read that are just amazingly written imo. i also watched the new spiderman movie recently and it was amazing so if you haven’t seen it, please do.
Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare
i will probably talk about one of cassandra’s books in every article but that just shows how much i love them. in all honesty, all of her books are written beautifully but this one is one of the top because it really tied so many character’s storyline together beautifully. also, i love how all of my favorites from tmi and tid showed up
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
i absolutely loved this book. like top ya contemporaries i have ever read and probably what got me into wanting to write some of my own. paris speaks for itself as the perfect backdrop for a boarding school best friend to lovers romance. but like how mad people were after both of them was just amazing drama and wow, i really love this book.
The Sun Is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon
i left one of my favorite books of all time for last with good reason. just the way different points of views and stories were given. it brought in the likes of the universe and philosophy which is just super thought-provoking and unconventional for a ya contemporary. also i don’t think i have ever related to a character more than natasha.
