This year starts off wild for manicure trends! Get your design brushes ready because animal prints are the “it” style right now. You can mix it with colors, do a nude or neutral approach to the design, mix and match with solid color and animal designs, or do a whole hand of animal prints.

Some people may think that animal designs are loud, but this particular trend is all about minimalism. A touch of leopard, cheetah, or tortoise with any range of colors you want, and you’re done. It will look fun, yet refined and chic.

Of course you can go to your local nail salon to get this done, but it’s also enough that you can do it right at home. All you need are some nail design brushes of various sizes (ultra thin and thin ones are musts), the nail polish colors for your desired animal design, and and any other polish colors you’d like to accent the look. Most importantly, you’ll also need a polish color for your base. Lastly, don’t forget your clear polish to seal everything.
